Officer Standards
All of our Security Officer’s are prior Law Enforcement, prior Military, or have extensive training in the Security Industry. All officers receive a minimum of 40 - 60 hours of professional education by our licensed instructors. PCG Security Int’l has a state licensed facility on site to conduct advanced tactical and scenario training. After officers complete the initial training phase, they are put through a rigorous pre –employment process to include physical & psychological testing. All officers must meet physical fitness requirements throughout the term of their employment. Our officers are screened for numerous controlled substances as well as through national, state, and local criminal databases. Credit checks are conducted for officers in high value areas.
After the initial phase is completed, officers attend advanced training courses given by our instructors who are former military. This training includes secondary weapons, advanced primary weapons, hand to hand combat, tactical scenario drills, breaching & team building exercises, as well as tactical driving courses.
The final phase of certification includes shadowing and on the job training. Officers shadow a member of our team during a routine shift. They will also be required to work shifts with the assistance of another team member. Once the officer is competent to handle the post they are cleared by a supervisory member of our staff and are then allowed to begin their active employment status with our company. |
